For many, the handstand can be seen as the Holy Grail of yoga postures…. it’s fun, challenging, builds up strength, stability and balance; not to mention that it looks pretty cool when you can finally pull it off. It even has it’s own Sanskrit name: Adho Mukha Vrksasana. And you’d be forgiven for thinking that meant downward facing tree posture.¬†

Handstand workshops are common occurrences at many yoga studios nowadays, and many online yoga websites boast at least 10 hot tips to get you closer to mastering your handstand. 

So I was keen to include my own, one “hot” tip, to get you going…….
