The Copper Yogi

with 4 Comments

In 2016 I was in a short film called The Copper Yogi, about a homeless man who discovers yoga. Written and directed by Alan Livesey and filmed in Preston, UK the film is due to be released next year on the short film festival circuit. If you want more information, please visit Alan’s website here.

By coincidence a book used in the film was the very same book I bought over fifteen years ago when I first started yoga: Ashtanga Yoga “The Practice Manual” by David Swenson. I was fortunate to do a one week intensive teacher training course with David in Edinburgh a few years later.

Whether you’re new to ashtanga yoga or a more experienced practitioner I highly recommend this book; click here for more details, and David Swenson’s website.

And here’s the film, I hope you enjoy it; you can spot the book? . . . .
